ADREAMISBORN (Kris S.) will go for his second graded win this
year while taking on five rivals in the $125,000 Bay Meadows Breeders’ Cup H.
(G3),
and we can’t pick against the Jerry Hollendorfer trainee. The six-year-old
gelding won the Stanford Breeders’ Cup H. (G3) earlier this season and also
added the Joseph T. Grace H. to his record two back. He ran fifth as the
defending champion in the Longacres Mile H. (G3) at Emerald Downs last out, but
was coming from the back utilizing a three-wide trip. The dark bay earned a nice
103 BRIS Late Pace figure for that effort and returns to his preferred track
(6-3-2-1). Regular rider Russell Baze has the call.

The Martin
Jones-conditioned EL DON (Cee’s Tizzy) owns only two starts on the turf, coming in his
most recent races, but both of them have been wins. The four-year-old posted a 1 1/2-length
score in an optional claimer at Del Mar in August before taking the California
Turf Championship H. over the course last out by an easy three lengths. El Don
owns the numbers to get the job done and could surprise with Dennis Carr aboard.

KILGOWAN (Smoke Glacken) ran third to Adreamisborn in the Joseph T. Grace
last out in only his second start on the turf for trainer Armando Lage and could fill that same spot
here. The gray four-year-old captured last year’s El Camino Real Derby (G3) at
Golden Gate Fields and garnered a nice 102 Late Pace rating over the grass three
back.

SHADOW RAIDER (Memo [Chi]) led from the start of the California Turf
Championship last out, but couldn’t hold his advantage to the wire, falling
three lengths short of El Don. Prior to that one, the Hollendorfer charge, who
is coupled with Adreamisborn, captured an optional claimer by two lengths. Chad
Schvaneveldt will be in the irons on Saturday and the pair could find themselves
in the top three.

GRAFTON (Rahy) will be getting blinkers added here, but we can’t recommend
his chances based on his past couple of starts. HATIF (Brz) (Spend a Buck) will
be dropping in class here after facing off against top level turf competition in
his prior races, but we’ll let him beat us.
