Seven sophomore fillies are entered for Saturday’s $300,000 Cotillion H. (G2) at Philadelphia
Park. INDIAN VALE (A.P. Indy) is undefeated in three starts,
winning her last two by a combined 23 3/4 lengths. The chestnut earned BRIS Speed
figures of 107 and 112 for those efforts and should be tough to beat in this 1
1/16-mile affair. Regular jockey John Velazquez will be absent for this trip,
riding at Belmont on Saturday, but trainer Todd Pletcher has picked up a heck of
a pinch hitter in retired Hall of Fame jockey Angel Cordero Jr., who will be returning
to the saddle for one day only.

YOLANDA B. TOO (Two Punch) stumbled at the start of the Gazelle S. (G1), but
still managed to finish a respectable third. The Richard Violette charge
weakened in the end of the 1 1/8-mile Gazelle, but will be cutting back in
distance here. The dark bay has earned triple-digit Speed figures in her past
two outings and should finish in the top three. Brian Peck has the call.

SHEBELONGSTOYOU (Belong to Me) destroyed her opponents in the Without
Feathers S. at Monmouth Park last out, taking that one by 14 3/4 lengths. She
has been working forwardly for trainer Kelly Breen and we will consider her for
the exotics under jockey Stewart Elliot.

AMAZING BUY (High Yield) is already proven over this track,
winning the Pennsylvania Oaks in her last outing, and has been victorious in three out
of four tries at about the Cotillion distance. Keep the Jennifer Pederson trainee in
mind for the gimmicks. Harry Vega will ride.

NOTHING BUT FUN (Dixie Union) is undefeated in three starts for conditioner
Michael Hushion. This will be the filly’s first attempt around two turns and she
has a strong late kick that could put her near the front at the wire.

I’MTOOGOODTOBETRUE (Good and Tough) has never failed to hit the board, but is
untested outside of her home state of New Jersey. We will bet
against. TOLL TAKER (Bernstein) was third in the Monmouth Breeders’ Cup Oaks
(G3) in her last try but looks a little outmatched here.
