Jockey Gary Bain and apprentice rider Alexis Freites were taken to Memorial
Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday after separate and unrelated
spills at Calder Race Course.

In the 1ST race, Bain was unseated from his horse, Touch of Magic (Outflanker),
as they were turning for home and clipped heels with another horse. Bain was
alert, talking and moving but was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
Touch of Magic was unharmed.

In the 2ND, Freites fell from his horse, Local Forecast (Regal Classic), a few jumps out
of the starting gate after bumping with another horse. He complained of arm pain
and was transported to the hospital for X-rays and further evaluation. Local
Forecast also was uninjured.

Calder reopened for live racing on Sunday and Monday with abbreviated
five-race turf programs following Hurricane Wilma. No racing is scheduled for
Tuesday and Wednesday. Live racing will resume on Thursday with a nine-race
card.
