The catalog for the 2006 Tattersalls February Sale is now available online at
www.tattersalls.com.
The single-day sale, scheduled for February 9, has attracted 351 lots,
consisting of yearlings of 2006, broodmares and horses and fillies in training.
Highlights of this year’s sale include listed winner SLIP DANCE (Celtic Swing)
and EXPECTATION (Night Shift), dam of Richmond S. (Eng-G2) hero Always Hopeful
(Mind Games).
Prince Khalid Abdullah’s Juddmonte Farms will offer 18 lots, including
STARZARI (Observatory), a half-sister to last year’s Listed winner and Group
2-placed Runaway (King’s Best).
A total of 59 yearlings are cataloged, including those by Group 1 sires Cape
Cross (Ire), Montjeu (Ire), Peintre Celebre and Royal Applause (GB) while first
season sires include Captain Rio, Dubai Destination, Nayef and Hawk Wing.
