Baden-Badener Auktionsgesellschaft (BBAG) has cataloged 128 lots for its
Spring Sale, which will take place May 22 at Baden-Baden Racecourse. A total of
70 two-year-olds are slated to sell during the auction, which will also include
horses in training, mares, yearlings and foals.
Among the sires represented by juveniles are Act One, Beat Hollow (GB), Big
Shuffle, Danehill Dancer, Intikhab, Platini, Sadler’s Wells, Tiger Hill and
Trempolino. Graduates of last year’s sale include undefeated listed winner
Lolita (Lavirco), who will be a leading contender in Sunday’s Henkel-Rennen
(German One Thousand Guineas) (Ger-G2).
“We are thrilled to offer our best Spring Sale catalog to date,” BBAG’s
Verena Gang said. “As in 2005, we are delighted with the quality and
international appeal of the horses on offer. German bloodstock is reaching new
levels each year and BBAG sales graduates again look set to make their mark
worldwide. Closer to home, at Dusseldorf on Sunday, no less than five fillies
sold at BBAG yearling sales will contest…the first German classic of the
year.”
