FLEET INDIAN (Indian Charlie) highlights a field of eight fillies and mares
set to run 1 1/8 miles in the $250,000 Sixty Sails H. (G3) at Hawthorne Saturday. The five-year-old won her first start last out for new trainer Todd Pletcher, battling for the lead in the early going and drawing clear in the end
to capture the Next Move H. (G3) over the inner track at Aqueduct. She seems
ready to go for this one, working five furlongs in 1:00 on Sunday, and will
look to capture her fourth consecutive race. Fleet Indian’s early speed should
work to her advantage in a field that lacks proven front runners. Jose
Santos has the call.

EYES ON EDDY (Touch Gold) came home a well-beaten fifth in the Rampart H.
(G2) at Gulfstream Park last out after being forced to steady in the first turn.
Prior to that, the Paul McGee trainee tired going 1 1/16 miles in her turf
debut, but we will throw those races out and consider her for the top three in
this one. She defeated eventual Sabin H. (G3) heroine Taittinger Rose (Menifee)
three starts back and captured the My Charmer S. over Turfway Park’s Polytrack by 7 1/4 lengths
the race before that. Eyes on Eddy will be a serious contender while making a jockey
switch to the hot Christopher Emigh.

PLATINUM BALLET (Skip Away) earned triple digit BRIS Speed figures in her
last two appearances, coming home a solid fourth in the Apple Blossom H. (G1) to
Spun Sugar (Awesome Again) and Happy Ticket (Anet) most recently. The added ground
could work to her benefit given her good late turn of foot, and the Donnie Von Hemel trainee should be kept in mind for the exotics under regular
rider Clifton Berry.

SUNSET KISSES (Sky Classic) recorded a wire-to-wire score against
allowance rivals in her last start and might be able to re-enact that feat on
Saturday. CULINARY (El Amante) is undefeated in one start at Hawthorne, a 3
3/4-length winner over allowance rivals in September. She earned a 108 Late Pace
rating there and could improve with a stretch in distance. Although she will be
challenged to find the winner’s circle, she is still a good use in the gimmicks.

SILVER HIGHLIGHT (Silver Charm) exits a solid allowance win a Santa Anita,
her first run on the main track. The four-year-old filly has proven she can do
well on both surfaces and could threaten to hit the board. The Christine Janks-trained FOR GILLIAN (Gold Fever) should be found gunning for the lead early.
Although she can improve while returning to a route in her second start off the
layoff, she faces class concerns in this field. TAPPIN FOR GOLD (Pleasant Tap)
has not proven she can compete at this level.
