Ten Most Wanted to stand at Lakland
North
Following in his sire’s footsteps, TEN MOST WANTED (Deputy Commander) will
move northward to Becky Thomas and Lewis Lakin’s Lakland North near Hudson, New
York, from Gainsway Farm. He will stand in 2007 for a live foal fee of $7,500.
Most noted for his 4 1/2-length win over multiple Grade 1 winner Peace Rules
in the 2003 Travers (G1) at Saratoga, the Kentucky-bred
dark bay garnered $1,718,460 in earnings and a 13-5-3-1 lifetime record. Retired and
syndicated to Gainsway, Dennis Narlinger of JMJ Racing and Paul Reddam, Ten Most Wanted was
bred to 111 mares his first season in 2005 while standing at Gainsway near Paris,
Kentucky.
Despite just having 68 yearlings to his name, trainer Wally Dollase is
already singing Ten Most Wanted’s praises.
“(He is) one of the most talented horses I’ve ever trained,” Dollase
said.
“His outstanding looks and effortless stride should enable him to become an
exceptional sire.”
