WAR FRONT (Danzig), who was retired from racing after finishing seventh in
Saturday’s Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1), will enter stud for a fee of $12,500
live foal at the place of his birth, Claiborne Farm near Paris, Kentucky.

War Front won the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Breeders’ Cup H. (G2) at Saratoga and
finished second in five other stakes this season — the Forego S. (G1),
Vosburgh S. (G1), Tom Fool H. (G2), Mr. Prospector H. (G3) and Deputy Minister
H. (G3). The Allen Jerkens-trained four-year-old earned $424,205 from a record
of 13-4-5-1.

Out of multiple stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Starry Dreamer (Rubiano), War Front is a
half-brother to Grade 3 victor Ecclesiastic (Pulpit) and Teammate (A.P. Indy),
winner of the Bonnie Miss S. (G2) in March and runner-up in this summer’s
Alabama S. (G1) and Gazelle S. (G1).
