Choisir juvenile brings
€42,000 at Goresbridge
A son of Coolmore’s Choisir was in demand when topping proceedings at
€42,000 during the third Goresbridge Flat Breeze-Up Sale at Gowran Park
Monday. Consigned by Paul Hickey, Hip No. 11 is a full brother to the juvenile
winner Just a Dancer out of a half to the multiple Group 3-placed Roundtree (Ire)
(Night Shift) and will
join the
Sussex stable of Gary Moore.
Of the fillies, it was the sole offering by Danehill
Dancer who stole the headlines when being snapped up by BBA Ireland for
€35,000. Hip 43 from the draft of Writtle Stud is the first produce of a
stakes-placed close relative of the 2006 Prix Chloe (Fr-G3) winner Sexy Lady (Danehill
Dancer).
Two lots earlier, Pat Flynn had snapped up Penmarrick Stud’s son of Invincible
Spirit from the extended family of Zilzal for €30,000, and later on Cedric
Boutin paid €31,000 for another colt by Choisir consigned by Willie Browne’s
Mocklershill Stables as Hip 55.
