JUSTWHISTLEDIXIE (Dixie Union) will ride into Friday’s $200,000

Bonnie Miss S. (G2)
at Gulfstream Park on the crest of a four-race win
streak that has turned her into the one of the top prospects for the May 1
Kentucky Oaks (G1). The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained sophomore figures to be a
strong favorite in the 1 1/8-mile contest, which marks the dark bay’s first
venture around two turns.

A seven-length maiden winner in her third start last October at Belmont,
Justwhistledixie next took the Love Affair S. by 3 1/4 lengths and the Ruthless
S. by 3 1/2 lengths, both at Aqueduct. She was then shipped to Gulfstream to
contest the one-mile Davona Dale S. (G2) at one mile and, displaying the
brilliance that marked her three prior races, drew off to win by 3 3/4-lengths
while earning a BRIS Speed rating of 105. Justwhistledixie will break from post
6 in the Bonnie Miss under Julien Leparoux, substituting for regular pilot Alan
Garcia who will be in Dubai this week.

A new face to stakes action is GATORETTE (Distorted Humor), a resounding
winner of her two starts at Gulfstream by a combined margin of 15 lengths. A
maiden winner going six furlongs, Gatorette successfully stretched out to take a
7 1/2-furlong allowance on March 8, earning a 98 Speed rating. The David Fawkes
charge will again be ridden by Eibar Coa.

CASANOVA MOVE (Langfuhr) was a clear second in the Davona Dale at 15-1, but
had also finished 3 1/2 lengths behind Justwhistledixie in the Love Affair, thus
will need major improvement to turn the tables on the favorite. The James
Jerkens filly is prone to significant margins of defeat, however, with the Love
Affair and Davona Dale spreads being her smallest in losing causes against
stakes foes.

SHARED ACCOUNT (Pleasantly Perfect) saw her perfect two-for-two mark snapped
in the Davona Dale after she stumbled at the start and steadily lost ground
thereafter. Beaten more than 22 lengths into sixth that day, she’ll have the
opportunity to rebound and is one of only three in the field with a victory
around two turns. That distinction also belongs to the field’s two outsiders,
HOPEFUL IMAGE (Gulch) and SUZ SLEW (Statement). Hopeful Image has been unplaced
in her last three, including a caboose-trip performance in the Forward Gal S.
(G2). Suz Slew recently broke her maiden in her fourth start going nine furlongs
over the Gulfstream strip.
