Outstanding freshman sire BERNARDINI (A.P. Indy) will command a $75,000 stud

fee in 2011, Darley announced Monday in a release setting fees for all stallions

based at its Lexington, Kentucky, farm. The seven-year-old had stood for $60,000

in 2010.

Bernardini became the first ever freshman to sire Grade/Group 1-winning

juveniles on both dirt and turf, with A Z Warrior's victory in the Frizette S.

(G1) following the Godolphin colt Biondetti's win in the Gran Criterium

(Ity-G1). The double was accomplished on the same day, October 9.

ELUSIVE QUALITY (Gone West), sire of multiple record-breaker Quality Road and

America's leading sire by 2010 stakes wins, is one of seven stallions on

Darley's roster to have his fee reduced. Elusive Quality will stand at $50,000,

down from his 2010 fee of $75,000.

The fee for HENNY HUGHES (Hennessy) has been cut in half, from $25,000 to

$12,500 for 2011.

All of Darley's five unproven stallions will also see a decrease -- STREET

SENSE (Street Cry [Ire]) will stand for $40,000 (down from $50,000 in 2010);

HARD SPUN (Danzig), $30,000 (previously $35,000); ANY GIVEN SATURDAY (Distorted

Humor), $20,000 (previously $25,000); STREET BOSS (Street Cry [Ire]) and

DISCREET CAT (Forestry), each pegged at $17,500 (formerly $20,000).

STREET CRY (Ire) (Machiavellian), sire of three individual Grade 1 winners in

2010, including Zenyatta, will remain at his 2010 fee of $150,000.

MEDAGLIA D'ORO (El Prado [Ire]), sire of 2010 Grade 1 winners Gabby's Golden

Gal, Warrior's Reward and Champagne d'Oro, also stays at his 2010 price of

$100,000.

Likewise unchanged are the fees for QUIET AMERICAN (Fappiano) ($15,000),

ROCKPORT HARBOR (Unbridled's Song) ($12,500), HOLY BULL (Great Above) ($10,000)

and OFFLEE WILD (Wild Again) ($7,500).

Fees have also been set for the two new stallions on the Darley roster.

Eclipse champion and the fastest-ever Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) winner

MIDSHIPMAN (Unbridled's Song) will stand for a fee of $15,000, while DESERT

PARTY, a $2.1 million son of Street Cry who took the Sanford S. (G2) at Saratoga

and emulated his sire when winning the U.A.E. Two Thousand Guineas (UAE-G3),

will retire at $10,000.

All fees' terms are stands and nurses.

'The Darley stallions have enjoyed an outstanding year in 2010," said Charlie

Boden, Darley's head of sales. "Street Cry, Medaglia d'Oro and Elusive Quality

have all had famous victories that will be remembered for years to come and we

couldn't be more pleased with Bernardini's first runners. We have four

impressive stallion prospects with their first two-year-olds running in 2011, so

there are exciting times ahead.

"We are thrilled to be offering Midshipman and Desert Party to breeders next

year. Midshipman defeated the best of his generation and proved himself on both

dirt and synthetic surfaces, while Desert Party is a fantastic physical who won

quality graded stakes at two, three and four."
