Jerry and Ann Moss’ two-time champion ZENYATTA will make a special appearance
in the Keeneland paddock on December 6, shortly after her arrival in the
Bluegrass to begin her new career as a broodmare.

Zenyatta is scheduled to arrive in Lexington, Kentucky, at approximately 3:45
p.m. (EST) on that date. She will then board a van to Keeneland and will be
paraded in the paddock at approximately 4:15 p.m.

The public is invited to see her before she is then vanned to her new home at
Mr. and Mrs. William S. Farish’s Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Kentucky.

In the future, fans wanting to see Zenyatta will need to check her website at
zenyatta.com, or at
lanesend.com, to see what her schedule might be while she is
preparing for her life as a broodmare.

According to Zenyatta’s website, exercise rider Steve Willard and groom Mario
Espinoza will accompany the six-year-old superstar on the plane, while the
Mosses, trainer John Shirreffs and his wife, racing manager Dottie
Ingordo-Shirreffs, will be on hand in Lexington for her arrival.

Purchased by David Ingordo on behalf of the Mosses at the 2005 Keeneland
September Yearling Sale, Zenyatta has been based throughout her stellar racing
career at Hollywood Park.

The Inglewood, California, track will hold a farewell ceremony in her honor
Sunday, the day prior to her departure for Kentucky.

A perfect 19-for-19 leading up to her near-miss to Blame in the November 6
Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) at Churchill Downs, Zenyatta set North American
female records in earnings, $7,304,580, and with an extraordinary 13 Grade 1
wins. Those Grade 1 wins include the 2009 Breeders’ Cup Classic and the 2008
Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic, and she earned Eclipse Awards as champion older
mare in both 2008 and 2009.

Mating plans have yet to be announced.
