The New York Racing Association (NYRA) has announced updated bus service to
Aqueduct Racetrack from select New York City Off-Track Betting parlor locations
in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, with the new schedule going
into effect on Wednesday. Aqueduct will return from a 10-day holiday hiatus
Wednesday with a 1ST-race post time of 12:30 (EST).
Previously existing routes in Staten Island and the Bronx, along with the
Queens route that stopped at 253-01 Northern Boulevard, 136-55 Roosevelt Avenue
and 31-35 Downing, have been discontinued due to low ridership. However, a new
route that will stop at 2795 Richmond Avenue in Staten Island and 6719 Bay
Parkway in Brooklyn has been added on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
At the conclusion of the racing day, 15 minutes after the final post at
Aqueduct, the buses will leave from the Clubhouse entrance and drop patrons off
at the same pick-up points.
NYRA began offering buses from Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens on December 4.
There are now seven bus routes that will run until further notice.
