Owners Jerry and Ann Moss revealed Wednesday that 2010 Horse of the
Year ZENYATTA (Street Cry [Ire]) will be sent to Bernardini to be bred in 2011.

Zenyatta is currently boarded at Lane’s End Farm near Versailles,
Kentucky. The superstar mare took up residence at the farm following the
conclusion of her racing career in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1).

While on track, the dark bay seven-year-old banked $7,304,580 in
career earnings to become the richest North American distaffer in
history. She racked up 19 wins from 20 starts, and 13 of those wins were
in Grade 1s. Zenyatta’s only loss came as she was attempting a title
defense in the Breeders’ Cup Classic on November 6.

On January 17, Zenyatta was honored as the 2010 Horse of the Year, as
well as picking up her third straight Eclipse Award for champion older
female.

Bernardini earned an Eclipse of his own when named the champion
three-year-old colt in 2006. A son of Lane’s End’s two-time leading sire A.P.
Indy, the bay captured that year’s Preakness S. (G1), Travers S. (G1), Jockey
Club Gold Cup (G1), Jim Dandy S. (G2) and Withers S. (G3), as well as placing in
the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

In 2010, with his first crop to race, Bernardini was the leading freshman
sire by number of graded stakes winners and by number of stakes winners. Among
his offspring thus far are Remsen S. (G2) and Nashua S. (G2) hero To Honor and
Serve; Frizette S. (G1) queen A Z Warrior; and Biondetti, victor of last year’s
Gran Criterium (Ity-G1).

Bernardini is
out of Grade 1 winner Cara Rafaela (Quiet American), who earned Broodmare of the
Year status in 2006, and stands at Darley for a fee of $75,000.
