Pennsylvania Derby, Cotillion attract marquee names

Grade 1 winner Frosted (Tapit), coming off a third-place finish in the Travers
(G1) where he softened up Triple Crown hero American Pharoah (Pioneerof the
Nile) in the early stages, heads the field for the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby
(G2) at Parx Racing.

The 1 1/8-mile event figures to be the final prep Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1)
for the gray colt, who races for Godolphin and is trained by Kiaran McLaughlin.

One race early, Alabama (G1) one-two Embellish the Lace (Super Saver) and I’m a
Chatterbox (Munnings) will renew rivalry in the $1 million Cotillion (G1) over 1
1/16 miles. Both seek to enhance their credentials for champion
three-year-old filly honors.
