Pure Sensation (Zensational) entered the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint (G1)
discussion on Monday when taking the $300,000 Turf Monster H. (G3) at Parx
Racing in a photo finish. The four-year-old gray completed five furlongs on
firm ground in :55.81 under Kendrick Carmouche.
The Christophe Clement trainee, who won as the 2-1 favorite, is now a perfect
three-for-three in one-turn grass races.
Earlier in the card, Richies Sweetheart (Bring the Heat) led all the way in
the $200,000 Turf Amazon H. for filly and mare turf sprinters, and Neck ‘n Neck
(Flower Alley) ended a long losing streak with a half-length score in the
$200,000 Greenwood Cup (G3) over 1 1/2 miles.
