Temperence Hill Invitational S. at Belmont Park after leading all the way in
the 1 5/8-mile marathon.
The Graham Motion-trained four-year-old stopped the clock in 2:44.66 as the
2-1 second choice to last year’s Travers S. (G1) winner V. E. Day (English
Channel), who was sent off the 1-2 favorite on Saturday. Jockey Joel Rosario was
aboard Tacticus, who earned his second straight stakes score in the
Temperence Hill.
