American Pharoah was honored as the 2015 Horse of the Year at the Eclipse
Award ceremony on Saturday evening at Gulfstream Park. He was also named the
unanimous champion three-year-old male.

In the human categories they were Zayat Stables
(Owner and Breeder), Bob Baffert (Trainer), Javier Castellano (Jockey) and Tyler
Gaffalione (Apprentice Jockey).

Mo Tom captured the Lecomte (G3) at Fair Grounds while
Stageplay scored in the Silverbulletday S.
Chocolate Ride and International Star prevailed in the undercard Colonel E.R.
Bradley H. (G3) and Louisiana H., respectively.
Gulfstream hosted the Sunshine Millions on Saturday,
X Y Jet starred in the Sunshine Millions Sprint and
Manchurian High ran down Reporting Star in the Sunshine Millions Turf.
Out in California,
Taris won the La Canada (G2) at Santa Anita Park while
Frank Conversation took the California Derby at Golden Gate Fields.
