Fields were drawn late last week for Saturday’s Road to the Derby Kickoff Day
at Fair Grounds, and
fourteen three-year-olds are set to line up for the $200,000 TwinSpires.com
Lecomte (G3), a prep for the upcoming Risen Star (G2) and Louisiana Derby
(G2) later in the meet.
The stakes-laden card also includes the $150,000 Silverbulletday for
three-year-old fillies, as well as the
Colonel E.R. Bradley H. (G3), which features local grass specialist Chocolate
Ride seeking his third graded stakes win.
