Clearsky Farm – 2017 Outstanding Breeders

Clearsky Farms was honored as the outstanding breeder of 2017 at the Eclipse Awards ceremony on Thursday night.

Established in 2009 by Eamon Cleary, it is run today by the founder’s sons, Bernard and Eamonn.

In 2017, the operation led all other breeders in earnings, racking up $10,959,419 (numbers through December 3, 2017). It also tied with Besilu Stables and WinStar Farm in terms of Grade 1 wins (four), but surpassed those two operations in regards to Grade 1 earnings ($9,227,200).

Among the farm’s honor roll are Arrogate and Abel Tasman.

Clearsky Farm resides near Lexington, Kentucky, in the heart of Horse Country.
