I WANT REVENGE (Stephen Got Even), a dominating 8 1/2-length winner of
the Gotham S. (G3) at Aqueduct on March 7, worked five furlongs in :58 1/5 over Hollywood
Park’s Cushion Track on Sunday. Regular rider Joe Talamo was aboard for the
move.
The Jeff Mullins-trained I Want Revenge is gearing up for the
$750,000 Wood Memorial (G1) back at the Big A on April 4.
“He went well, and everything looks
good,” Mullins said following the work.
Prior to the Gotham, the sophomore had spent his career running over
synthetic California tracks, racking up a nose second in the CashCall Futurity (G1) as a
juvenile and a third in the Robert B. Lewis S. (G2) behind leading West Coast
three-year-old Pioneerof the Nile (Empire Maker).
