Greater Good tops Iroquois
Kentucky Cup Juvenile S. (G3) winner GREATER GOOD (Intidab)
heads a field of seven juveniles entered for Saturday’s $100,000
Iroquois S. (G3) at Churchill Downs. Trained by Bob Holthus, the
bay colt took the Kentucky Cup by 2 3/4 lengths and has won two
of three career starts. Regular rider John McKee has the mount.
Three entrants come off a sharp maiden win at Keeneland.
HIGHGROVE (Forestry) trounced his nearest rival by 6 1/2 lengths
last time for trainer Nick Zito, who will also saddle the
uncoupled CHIEF COMMANDER (Deputy Commander). The latter earned
his first career win by 3 3/4 lengths last out. CAN’T TRICK JAKE
(Mazel Trick) rolled to a 1 1/4-length score 15 days ago for
conditioner Randy Morse.
