ASHADO (Saint Ballado), last year’s champion three-year-old filly and a 9
1/2-length winner of last Sunday’s Go for Wand H. (G1), will be
offered at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale in Lexington, Kentucky. Taylor Made Sales Agency will consign the filly on behalf of owners Jack and
Laurie Wolf of Starlight Stable, Paul Saylor and Johns Martin.

A six-time Grade 1 winner, Ashado is expected to make her next start in
either the
Personal Ensign H. (G1) on August 26 at Saratoga or the Ruffian H. (G1) on
September 11 at
Belmont Park. Her ultimate goal is a defense of her title
in the Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1) on October 29 at Belmont Park.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, the dark bay filly has earned $3,245,440 from a record of 18-11-4-2.

Out of the stakes-winning Mari’s Book mare Goulash, Ashado is a full sister to Grade 2-placed Saint Stephen
and stakes-placed Ballado’s Halo, and a half-sister to stakes-placed Storm Creek Rising (Storm Creek).

Starlight Stables purchased Ashado from Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, for $170,000
at the 2002 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
