Hall of Fame jockey Angel Cordero Jr. will make a one-day comeback to ride
INDIAN VALE (A.P. Indy) in Saturday’s $300,000 Cotillion H. (G2) at Philadelphia
Park. The 63-year-old rider, who retired 10 years ago and is also expected to
pilot Yes Yes Yes (Yes It’s True) in the $100,000 Gallant Bob H. on the
Cotillion undercard, will donate part of any earnings to the Hurricane Relief
effort.

Unbeaten from three career starts, Indian Vale will face six sophomore filly
rivals in the 1 1/16-mile Cotillion. The Todd Pletcher trainee captured a Saratoga allowance by 13 lengths two starts back and exits a 10
3/4-length allowance romp on September 4. Both races were at 1 1/8 miles.

Her main challengers include four-time stakes queen AMAZING BUY (High Yield),
who exits a one-length win over the track in the Pennsylvania Oaks, Grade 3
winner TOLL TAKER (Bernstein) and Gazelle S. (G1) third-placer YOLANDA B. TOO
(Two Punch).

The complete field, from the rail out with jockeys and weights, is Toll Taker,
Aaron Gryder, 118; NOTHING BUT FUN (Dixie Union), Richard Migliore, 115;
SHEBELONGSTOYOU (Belong to Me), Stewart Elliott, 117; Yolanda B. Too, no rider,
117; Indian Vale, 114; I’MTOOGOODTOBETRUE (Good and Tough), no rider, 115; and
Amazing Buy, Harry Vega, 120.
