The Breeders’ Cup and Churchill Downs announced Wednesday that
tickets for this year’s Breeders’ Cup World Championships, scheduled for November 5-6, will go on
sale at noon (EDT) on June 5. It is the first time that Churchill Downs
will host the event under the two-day Championship format, which began in
2007. Breeders’ Cup Friday will begin at 2 p.m. and finish under
the lights at approximately 7:30 p.m. with the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Ladies’
Classic (G1). Saturday’s card will begin at 12:05 p.m. and conclude with the $5
million Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) at 6:45 p.m.
Fans will be able to purchase single day tickets for either the Friday or
Saturday program, or take advantage of bundled seating and dining packages for
both days of the Breeders’ Cup.
