The $1 million Louisiana Derby (G1) highlights Saturday’s program and Risen
Star (G2) hero MUCHO MACHO MAN (Macho Uno) has been installed as the 9-5
favorite on the morning line among 13 three-year-olds. The $500,000 Fair Grounds
Oaks (G2), a key prep for the May 6 Kentucky Oaks (G1), will match a contentious
field of 10 fillies at the New Orleans oval.

(G2) at Turfway Park and the $800,000 Sunland Derby (G3) on Sunday.
