India returns in Valley Stream

Impressive maiden winner INDIA (Hennessy), who finished well-back in the
Matron S. (G1) as the even-money favorite last out, returns to the races on
Sunday against five rivals in the $100,000 Valley Stream S. (G3). The
Todd Pletcher-trained juvenile miss broke her maiden by 12 lengths at Saratoga
in late July prior to making her stakes bow in the Matron in mid-September. She
never fired in that seven-furlong test and
will shorten up to six furlongs on Sunday.

PRINCESS SWEET (Precise End) will go under the top weight of 122 pounds off
two easy wins. The Linda Rice charge broke her maiden by 9 1/4 lengths over the
track before taking the New York Stallion S. (Fifth Avenue division). Jockey
Cornelio Velasquez will be aboard the New York-bred.

Also entered in the Valley Stream is another undefeated filly, three-time
winner CELESTIAL LEGEND (City Zip), who captured the Holly S. at
the Meadowlands most recently. She’ll have Edgar Prado in the irons while toting a 120-pound
impost.

The complete field for the Valley Stream is DIAMOND SPIRIT (Holy Bull), Jose
Santos, 116; India, John Velazquez, 116; MIRACULOUS MISS (Mr. Greeley), Ramon Dominguez, 118;
Princess Sweet; SLEEPING (Forest Camp), Eibar Coa, 118; and Celestial Legend.
