Fair Grounds, Aqueduct host multiple-stakes cards on day
after Christmas

Fair Grounds and Aqueduct may have nothing going on Christmas, but one day
later the two tracks will each offer cards featuring multiple stakes.

Fair Grounds has three scheduled to go next Saturday, December 26, including the
$75,000 Woodchopper S. and $75,000 Pago Hop S. each sending sophomores a mile on
the turf. Also on the day, distaffers will sprint six furlongs in the $60,000
Pan Zareta S.

Aqueduct also boasts a stakes restricted to three-year-olds in the $100,000
Gravesend S., which features Repole Stables’ Sudden Surprise from the Todd
Pletcher shedrow, as well as the $100,000 Damon Runyon S., which will see the
top three from the Fall Highweight H. (G3) re-oppose.
