America Tab, which includes BrisBET.com, announced Thursday that it has signed an agreement with Magna
Entertainment Corp. to carry its wagering and simulcast product, a deal
involving 11 tracks under the Magna umbrella in 2005. The deal begins with the
opening of Santa Anita on December 26.
“This is great for everyone involved, it marks a renewed spirit of
cooperation in the industry,” said Charles Ruma, managing member of America Tab.
“This is good for the industry and to the horseplayer who wants a full selection
of tracks to wager under one account.”
The contract will also place Golden Gate Fields, Pimlico and Portland Meadows
on the America Tab schedule as well as the Meadows, which offers
Standardbred racing.
