The 2004 Cartier Awards, Europe’s equivalent to the Eclipse Awards,
will be announced Wednesday evening in London. The nominees for the
eight horse categories follow:

In addition to the horse awards, the Daily Telegraph Award of Merit
will go to the person who, in the opinion of the 21-person Cartier
jury, has done the most for European racing and/or breeding either
over his/her lifetime or within the past 12 months.
