Grade 2 winner BWANA CHARLIE (Indian Charlie), a
fast-finishing fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) last out,
carries the top impost of 137 pounds in Thursday’s $100,000 Fall
Highweight H. (G3). A field of 11 will contest the six-furlong
Thanksgiving Day feature at the Big A that honors the long-time

year and has picked up the services of Stewart Elliott for the
Fall Highweight. Dwyer S. (G2) and Withers S. (G3) hero MEDALLIST
(Touch Gold) will carry the second highest assignment of 134
pounds.
The Todd Pletcher-trained FRIENDLY ISLAND (Crafty Friend), an
easy winner of the Hudson H. last out and trying open stakes
company for the first time, comes next on the scale at 130
pounds, making the three-year-olds the top three weighted
runners. Stakes winner DUBAI SHEIKH (Kayrawan), at 129 pounds,
tops the older horses.
The complete field, in post order with riders and hefty weight
assignments, is Friendly Island, John Velazquez; UNCLE CAMIE

Bejarano, 126; MAX’S BUDDY (Irish River [Fr]), Cornelio
Velasquez, 127; Bwana Charlie; PRIMARY SUSPECT (Hennessy), Pablo
