Social Inclusion, Noble Moon post breezes ahead of Wood Memorial

Social Inclusion is set to van north to Aqueduct for next Saturday’s Grade 1, $1 million Wood Memorial after
breezing four furlongs in :46 4/5 seconds on Saturday over Gulfstream Park’s
fast dirt. The move
was the second-quickest of 51 at the distance.

The lightly raced son of Pioneerof the Nile covered the
first quarter-mile in :23 2/5 and galloped out five furlongs in :59 3/5,
according to owner Ronald Sanchez.

“Very easy. Marvelous,” Sanchez said by telephone. “He went
fast and easy.”

It was the third breeze in a week for Social Inclusion, who
went four furlongs in :49 1/5 last Saturday and three furlongs in :35 2/5 on
Wednesday.

Sanchez said Social Inclusion will depart Gulfstream at 5
a.m. (EDT) on Sunday and is scheduled to arrive at Aqueduct around 5 or 6 a.m. Monday.
He’ll gallop up to the Wood Memorial.

Treadway Racing Stable’s Noble Moon, a possible starter in
the Wood Memorial, and Sweet Reason, bound for the Grade 2,
$300,000 Gazelle on the Wood undercard, had their final serious preparations for
next Saturday’s races this morning over Belmont Park’s fast training track.

The duo went out together, with NYRA clockers catching
Sweet Reason in 1:14 2/5 for six furlongs and crediting Noble Moon with a
one-mile move in 1:45 2/5.

“Sweet Reason remains on schedule for the Gazelle, and
we’re going to wait to see how Noble Moon comes out of his work before we make a
decision on the Wood,” trainer Leah Gyarmati said. “I was happy with the way they went, and
the way he galloped out. If he’s tearing apart the stall in a day or two, we’ll
take a shot. If not, we’ll wait.”

Sweet Reason, a winner of three of five starts including
last September’s Spinaway, made a successful 2014 debut on March 14 when taking a
one-mile optional claimer by a half-length at Aqueduct.

Noble Moon, a two-length victor of
the January 4 Jerome, broke his maiden in front-running style on September 14 at
Belmont and rallied from 12th to finish third behind winner Cairo Prince and
Financial Mogul in the Nashua on November 13 at the Big A.
