The bay gelding kicked off his seven-year-old season with a romping four-length score to defend his title in the Palos Verdes Stakes (G2) at Santa Anita Park, which was worth a 107 BRIS Speed figure.
Solid Wager and Forever Liesl each earned 102 BRIS Speed ratings for their respective wins in Saturday’s Toboggan Stakes (G3) and Ladies Handicap on Sunday, both at Aqueduct. Big Changes and Win Win Win also were awarded the same BRIS Speed figures of 101 for taking the Sunshine Millions Turf at Gulfstream Park and Pasco Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs.
Irish-bred Pantsonfire captured the Astra Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita on Sunday and Quijote upset the Sunshine Millions Sprint on Saturday at Gulfstream, good for a 100 BRIS Speed rating each.
