Order of St George crowns O’Brien treble at the Curragh

Order of St George (Galileo) trounced older horses in Sunday’s Irish St Leger
(Ire-G1) at the Curragh, capping a trio of Group 1 events for trainer Aidan
O’Brien on the concluding day of Irish Champions weekend.

The master of Ballydoyle also swept both juvenile contests, the National
(Ire-G1) with Air Force Blue (War Front) andthe Moyglare Stud (Ire-G1) with
Minding (Galileo), who thereby booked a reservation for the Breeders’ Cup
Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1) — if she wants it.
