Lost Bus pulls off stunner in Santa Monica

Lost Bus, claimed by her present connections for $32,000 at Del Mar two months
ago, turned in a stunning 64-1 upset of the $200,000 Santa Monica (G2)
at
Santa Anita on Saturday, outlasting 8-1 chance Finest City by a head in the
seven-furlong test for older fillies and mares.



Charming Kitten flashed his immense stamina once again taking the $100,000 H.
Allen Jerkens
at Gulfstream over two miles on the turf. Ken and Sarah
Ramsey’s homebred had previously taken the 2014 Belmont Gold Cup over two miles,
and the December 26 W.L. McKnight H. (G3) going 1 1/2 miles.

At Tampa Bay Downs, three-year-olds

Morning Fire and R Girls a Charmer led at every call to take the Pasco and
Gasparilla
, both over seven furlongs, and older filly White Clover pulled
off her own wire job in the 1 1/16-mile Wayward Lass.
