Mark DeDomenico LLC, Todaro and Hollendorfer's ADREAMISBORN (Kris S.) sat in

the back of the field following the opening six furlongs of the $121,250

Bay

Meadows Breeders' Cup H. (G3) on Saturday, but the gelding closed with a big

rush to capture the turf race by a nose. Trained by Jerry Hollendorfer and

ridden by Russell Baze, the six-year-old commenced his bid in the second turn

and rallied furiously under left-handed urging to gain his second graded win of

the year. The about nine-furlong firm turf test was concluded in 1:46 4/5 and the

winner gave back $3.40 and $2.80 as part of the favored coupled entry.

Stablemate Shadow Raider (Memo [Chi]) led the field for virtually every step

of the race, but fell just short by nose and returned the same as the winner. Hatif (Brz) (Spend A Buck) closed to get

third, but completed the $12.40 exacta ($1) at 13-1. El Don (Cee's Tizzy) and

Grafton (Rahy) completed the order of finish, while Kilgowan (Smoke Glacken) was

scratched.

Adreamisborn continues to add to an impressive resume, with $576,530 in

earnings from a career line of 27-9-9-3. The gelding annexed the Stanford

Breeders' Cup H. (G3), 2004 Longacres Mile H. (G3), Joseph Grace H. and Alamedan

H.

Bred in the Bluegrass State by John Franks and Jonabell Farm, the winner

brought a final bid of $80,000 at the 1999 Keeneland November Breeding Stock

Sale. He is out of the multiple Grade 3-winning Erica's Dream (Two's A Plenty)

and has a trio of unnamed half-siblings, a two-year-old filly by Littlebitlively, a yearling filly by Lost Soldier and a 2005 colt by Posse.
