After a trio of second-place efforts earlier in the Fair Grounds meet, Beatbox earned a well-deserved victory Saturday in the $175,000 Fair Grounds (G3).

Lucky Seven Stable’s Rattle N Roll continued his renaissance in Sunday night’s Oklahoma Derby (G3), while the Remington Park Oaks (G3) had a hometown flavor thanks to Oklahoma-bred winner Hits Pricey Legacy.

Trainer Brad Cox has won the Oklahoma Derby (G3) for the past three years, and Best Actor will try to make it four in Sunday’s $400,000 renewal.

On a busy Saturday of racing at Horseshoe Indianapolis, the $300,000 Indiana Derby (G3) and $200,000 Indiana Oaks (G3) produced contrasting results.
