European sales season concludes at Fairyhouse on Tuesday

Tattersalls Ireland will stage its one-day December Flat Sale at Fairyhouse

Tuesday, bringing to a close the European sales season.

Bidding to build on recent successes at Newmarket, Goffs and Deauville, the

auction offers a mixture of foals, yearlings and horses in training. Among the

latter is 2004 Meld S. (Ire-G3) winner LATINO MAGIC (Ire) (Lion Cavern).

Consigned by Craddoxtown House Stables as Hip 247, the six-year-old is related

to Most Welcome (GB) and Teenoso.

Hip 26 is the

four-year-old filly GEMS OF ARABY (Zafonic), a half-sister to this year's

Criterium de Saint-Cloud (Fr-G1) winner Passage of Time (Dansili) offered by

Springfort Park Stud.

Sires of foals and yearlings include Cadeaux Genereux, Cape Cross (Ire),

Danetime, Dubai Destination, Elusive City, Invincible Spirit, King's Best,

Noverre and Spinning World, while covering sires of the broodmares cataloged

include Bachelor Duke, Kheleyf, One Cool Cat and Monsieur Bond.

Gary Swift consigns Hip 85, a yearling son of Invincible Spirit out of listed

winner Grand Morning (Ire) (King of Clubs [GB]); Hip 229 is Summerhill House Stud's yearling filly by

Dubai Destination, who hails from the family of Doyen and Moonshell (Ire). The

draft of Derek Veitch's Ringfort Stud includes Hip 276, a Noverre yearling

half-brother to the useful Yankee George (Cape Cross [Ire]) from the family of

Awe Inspiring.
