Exchange Rate colt zips quarter in :21 at OBS

Hip No. 291, NOBLE EXCHANGE, a colt by Exchange Rate consigned by Eisaman

Equine, agent, worked a quarter in :21, fastest time at the distance at Sunday's

second and final session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales

Company's 2010 March Sale of Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training. The gray colt

is out of Social Scene (Tabasco Cat) and is a half-brother to stakes placed

Winsome Charm (Silver Charm).

Eisaman Equine also consigned Hip 310, an Indian Charlie colt who worked a

quarter in :21 1/5. The bay colt is out of stakes winner Teak Totem (Northern

Afleet).

Two youngsters worked eighths in :10 flat. Hip 282, consigned by Leprechaun

Racing, agent, is a bay filly by Badge of Silver out of Silver Bride (Runaway

Groom), and is a half-sister to stakes winner Hallway (Graeme Hall). Hip 306,

consigned by James Layden, agent, is a bay colt by Henny Hughes out of

Tacticmove (Deputy Minister), who is herself a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Cat

Fighter (Storm Cat).

A dozen horses stopped the timer in :10 1/5 for an eighth: Hips 190, 272 and

336, a pair of More Than Ready fillies and a Stormy Atlantic colt consigned by

Jerry Bailey Sales Agency, agent; Hips 211 and 247, fillies by War Chant and

Bernstein consigned by McKathan Brothers, agent; Hip 221, a Malibu Moon filly

consigned by Old South Farm; Hip 226, a filly by Congrats consigned by Cary

Frommer, agent; Hips 259 and 332, fillies by Badge of Silver and Forest Danger

consigned by Eisaman Equine, agent; Hip 295, a Songandaprayer filly consigned by

(Tony Bowling), agent; Hip 331 a filly by Congrats consigned by Nick de Meric,

agent.   

The March Sale begins Tuesday, and the starting time has been rescheduled to

2 p.m. (EDT). Wednesday's second and final session remains scheduled for 11 a.m.
