Good Cheer's status as the undefeated Kentucky Oaks (G1) favorite remained unchanged on Saturday after the Godolphin homebred went about her business in the $396,000 Fair Grounds Oaks (G2).

A new chapter in Virginia racing occurs this weekend when Colonial Downs plays hosts to a special three-day meeting, anchored by a repositioned $500,000 Virginia Derby and $250,000 Virginia Oaks on Saturday.

Godolphin’s homebred Good Cheer remained undefeated, and reiterated her status as a serious Kentucky Oaks (G1) contender, by dominating Saturday’s Rachel Alexandra (G2) at Fair Grounds.
