It’s safe to say trainer Chad Brown enjoyed a banner Saturday at Monmouth Park. Horses hailing from the Brown barn won four of the day’s five graded stakes.

Along with undefeated Jack Christopher in the Haskell (G1), trainer Chad Brown has leading contenders in all the graded stakes on the undercard at Monmouth Park on Saturday.

Shipping outside of California for the first time, Flightline lit up Belmont Park with an eye-popping performance in Saturday’s $1 million Metropolitan H.

Saturday’s $279,000 Kelso H. (G2) was a cakewalk for 1-20 favorite Life Is Good, who breezed through his Breeders’ Cup tune-up against three overmatched rivals at Belmont Park.

While the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby (G1) and Cotillion (G1) are the richest prizes at Parx Saturday, notable names will appear on the stakes-laden undercard as well.

On an afternoon when all four graded stakes at Aqueduct were won wire-to-wire, Shotski took the preferred route to victory in posting an 8-1 upset of the $250,000 Remsen (G2) on Saturday.
