Brilliant Berti regained top honors in Sunday’s Gun Runner S. at Kentucky Downs, and promising juveniles Tiztastic, May Day Ready, and Kilwin scored their first stakes victories.

Staying in the barn Thursday as a main-track-only entrant in the P.G. Johnson S. worked out well for Leave No Trace. Entered right back in Sunday’s Spinaway (G1) at Saratoga, the Phil Serpe trainee upstaged well-regarded opponents in a race worth much more to her resume.

Trainer Chad Brown won the Monmouth S. (G3) for the sixth straight year on Saturday, this time courtesy of Sacred Life. But in the companion Eatontown (G3), fellow Brown favorite Fluffy Socks wound up fourth behind Stolen Holiday, who aptly stole the race.
