Last updated: 7/15/15 4:57 PM

Mr. Z (Malibu Moon) finally broke through in the June 20 Ohio Derby, snapping

a 13-race losing skein with his first stakes victory, and the D. Wayne

Lukas-trained colt will seek a second straight when he lines up for Saturday's

$500,000

Indiana Derby (G2). The chestnut colt heads a field of eight sophomores in

the 1 1/16-mile race at Indiana Grand.

His main challengers include Grade 3 winner Divining Rod (Tapit), a close

third in the Ohio Derby; last-out Matt Winn (G3) scorer Island Town (Hard Spun);

and Grade 3 runner-up Tiz Shea D (Tiznow). For more on the Indiana Derby field,
