Multiple Grade 1 heroine Turbulent Descent (Congrats), an easy winner

of the Grade 1 Test Stakes when last seen in early August, clocked

three-quarters in a bullet 1:11 2/5 on the Cushion Track at Hollywood Park. The Mike

Puype filly is headed to the Filly & Mare Sprint.

Grade 1 Pat O'Brien Stakes victor The Factor (War Front), fourth most

recently in the Grade 1 Ancient Title, sizzled a half-mile in :46 1/5 on Santa

Anita's fast dirt in preparation for the Sprint.

Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity scorer Drill (Lawyer Ron), runner-up in the

Grade 1 Norfolk earlier this month, readied for the Juvenile with a

five-furlong move in :59 2/5.

Stakes winner Candrea (Trippi), who suffered her first loss when a

half-length second in the Grade 1 Oak Leaf, drilled a co-bullet five-eighths in

:58 3/5. The bay lass is a candidate for the Juvenile Fillies.

Over the good training track at Belmont Park, last year's undefeated juvenile

filly champion Awesome Feather (Awesome of Course) turned four furlongs

in :49 4/5. Winner of the October 5 Le Slew Stakes following an 11-month layoff,

she might be under consideration for both the Ladies' Classic and Filly & Mare

Sprint.
