With most of the pre-Breeders' Cup preparations completed, only six

candidates took to the track at Santa Anita Tuesday morning.

MUSHKA (Empire Maker), who was elevated to first in the Spinster S.

(G1) last time, breezed three furlongs in :38 3/5 over the Pro-Ride in advance

of Friday's Ladies' Classic (G1).

Also working three-eighths was Grade 2 heroine GOTTA HAVE HER (Royal

Academy), who will face the boys in the Turf Sprint after exercising in :37 1/5.

She exits back-to-back wins in the Senator Ken Maddy H. (G3) and Palomar H.

(G2).

MAMBO MEISTER (King Cugat), who gained entry to the Dirt Mile (G1)

following a score in the Spend a Buck H. (G3) at Calder, completed five furlongs

in 1:00 2/5.

Grade 2-placed ZIP QUIK (City Zip), unraced since a sixth in the

September 7 Del Mar Futurity (G1), prepped for the Juvenile Turf (G2) by

recording the same time.

PISCITELLI (Victory Gallop), a longshot for the Juvenile (G1), went a

half-mile in :52 3/5. The Grade 3-placed colt exits a fifth-place effort in the

Breeders' Futurity (G1).

Over the firm turf, defending Turf Sprint champion DESERT CODE (E

Dubai) sped in :47. He's gone unplaced three times since taking the Daytona H.

(G3) in February.

KING LEDLEY (Stormin Fever), multiple Group 2-placed in Ireland, went

three furlongs in :36 3/5 in advance of the Juvenile Turf.
