The Saturday card at Keeneland includes a trio of rich turf stakes: the $1.25 million Turf Mile (G1), the $750,000 First Lady (G1), and the $350,000 Woodford (G2).

Streaking sophomore turf sprinter Big Invasion racked up his fifth win in a row, and fourth straight stakes, in Sunday’s Quick Call (G3) at Saratoga. The 0.85-1 favorite was capping a fine opening weekend for connections.

Big Invasion extended his winning streak to four when surging past Asymmetric in the May 29 Paradise Creek S. at Belmont Park. The two sophomores will renew rivalry in Sunday’s Quick Call (G3) at Saratoga, where Asymmetric might benefit from a change in distance as well as equipment.

Odds-on favorite Corniche stamped his Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) ticket in Friday’s American Pharoah S. (G1) at Santa Anita, and fellow unbeaten One Timer captured the Speakeasy S., a “Win and You’re In” for the Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2).

The opening day of Santa Anita's fall meet on Friday will feature three Breeders' Cup Challenge preps for two-year-olds, as well as a potentially key prep for the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1).
