A trio of graded stakes—including a Breeders' Cup qualifier—made for an exciting Sunday afternoon of racing at Belmont Park.

Three graded stakes are slated at Belmont Park on Sunday –  the Beldame (G2), a stepping stone to the Breeders’ Cup Distaff (G1); the Futurity (G3), a “Win and You’re In” for the Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2); and the Knickerbocker (G3).

Letruska's stranglehold on 2021 Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1) qualifiers continued Saturday at Saratoga when the five-year-old mare proved tenacious in the final furlong to win the $600,000 Personal Ensign S. (G1) under Irad Ortiz Jr.

A closing second to Letruska in last summer’s Shuvee S. (G3), Royal Flag overtook another gutsy pacesetter, Horologist, in time in Sunday’s $200,000 renewal at Saratoga.
