A rough run around the first turn didn’t stop Imagination from battling to victory in Sunday’s $300,000 San Felipe (G2) at Santa Anita.

Santa Anita has moved Saturday’s card to Sunday due to forecasted heavy rains, and the 10-race program features four graded stakes, including the 87th running of the Santa Anita H. (G1) and the San Felipe (G2) for three-year-olds.

The Fountain of Youth (G2) is the likeliest of the quartet to have a major impact on the trail, while the utility of the San Felipe (G2) arguably depends on how the race plays out. The Gotham (G3) has a few smart types, but more of the one-turn variety.
