Six months to the day after Slipstream went last-to-first in the Futurity (G3) at Belmont Park, the Christophe Clement trainee parlayed a similar inside trip to beat 9-10 favorite Twilight Gleaming in Sunday’s $188,788 Palisades S. at Keeneland.

Keeneland’s Sunday feature, the Beaumont (G3), serves as the final points opportunity on the Road to the Kentucky Oaks. The supporting Palisades S. is the comeback spot for Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint heroine Twilight Gleaming.

A trio of graded stakes—including a Breeders' Cup qualifier—made for an exciting Sunday afternoon of racing at Belmont Park.
