Tapit Trice was bet down to 1-2 favoritism in Saturday’s Tampa Bay Derby (G2), a fans’ vote of confidence that the highly-regarded blueblood would punch his ticket to the Kentucky Derby (G1).

The 4-5 favorite Classic Causeway controlled the Tampa Bay Derby (G2) throughout and sped to the top of the Kentucky Derby (G1) points leaderboard.
